Reconfirmation of flights with Iran Air:

All outbound flights from London with Iran Air are automatically reconfirmed when your ticket is issued. Reconfirmation of the inbound date can also be made at the same time , only if a contact number in Iran can be provided . Otherwise, reconfirmation of the inbound date must be made at least seven days prior to departure. The number to call is (009821)9116575. You may also email them at reconfirm@iranair.com stating your name, flight number, flight date, and ticket number. Reconfirming your date with British Midland is not necessary, but if you wish to contact them the number is (009821)22044552.

Domestic Cities:

Please note with Iran Air one can book flights to the following cities in Iran, One way GBP20.00 and Return GBP40.00. These destinations are as follows: Abadan / Ahwaz / Ardabil / Bandar Abbas / Bandar Lengeh / Bushehr / Chabahar / Isfahan / Kerman / Kermanshah / Mashad / Rasht / Sary / Shiraz / Tabriz / Urumieh / Yazd / Zahedan.

Dress Code:

Women should wear a long sleeved raincoat or shirt (arriving at least to the knees) over a pair of trousers or a long skirt. A headscarf should be worn at all times and it is nice to have a selection of colorful headscarves to ring the changes. For ladies, the good thing in Iran is that you will never have a bad hair day. In hot weather sandals worn with trousers are acceptable. If you are wearing sandals and visit a mosque, take a pair of dark socks with you. The local cover up (or roupoush) for ladies can be purchased everywhere in Iran quite cheaply and some cool cotton ones are produced for summer wear. Men can wear short sleeves, but sleeveless T-shirts and shorts are not acceptable.

Baggage Allowance:

Iran Air's baggage allowance for Homa Class (Business Class) is 40KG and for economy class is 30KG.

British Midland's baggage allowance for Business class and  economy class is 30KG.
