In order to obtain a visa for Iran you must first obtain authorization from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran and then apply to the Iranian Consulate in London for the visa to be stamped in your passport. Facts Travel is able to obtain authorization on your behalf and the procedure is as follows:
Time Required to Obtain a Visa
It normally takes approximately 10 working days to obtain authorization from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran +2/3 days for the visa to be stamped at the Iranian Consulate. You should therefore allow approximately 3 weeks to complete the visa process. If you require an urgent visa please call us and we will try to assist.
Cost
Our charges for obtaining authorization is £50 per person depending on your circumstances (supplements apply for business visas). Fees are payable to Facts Travel in full by credit card or cash before the application can be processed and are non refundable. Our charges do not include the Consular fee payable directly to the Iranian Consulate of £87 for British passport holders (other charges may apply for different nationalities).

Please complete this form and email it to us together with a scanned copy of your passport to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or send the completed application form along with passport copy by post to us.You do not have to part with your passport at this stage. If you are traveling independently to Iran, you will need to provide the name of a sponsor and his/her address and telephone number in Iran. This host must hold an Iranian passport and must be willing to take responsibility for you as they will be contacted by our agent in Iran. If you are unable to provide the name of a sponsor, please enclose a detailed itinerary of your trip and a letter of confirmation of your current employment. Businessmen will need to provide an invitation from a company in Iran.
2) Lodging your application
Once your visa is approved we will contact you and give you an authorization number. You can then go to the Iranian Consulate in person to lodge your passport and have your fingerprints scanned. You will need to fill in 1 application form per person, provide 2 photo (ladies should wear a headscarf in the photo) and pay the Consular fee. For British nationals the cost is currently £87 but it can vary for other nationalities and it will take 2-3 days. A same day service is available for £107.

Validity of Visa
For British passport holders the visa is valid for 30 days and you have three months from the date of issue to complete your journey to Iran.
